Matriarchies have never existed—yet cultures that are needs-oriented, peaceful, egalitarian, and mother-centered have existed and continue to exist. This performance playfully invites the audience to explore the themes of matriarchy and a connection to nature, and to experience dance theater, with its movements and rhythms, as an essential part of the cycle of becoming and passing away. Audience members encounter different generations of women in a dance performance that moves through the forest. Intimate moments unfold. The stories are about women and their relationships with nature.
